BUCKINGHAM, Oct. 21 -Ernest Lindbergh Carroll, 74, of Buckingham, died Thursday, October 16, 2003 in a Charlottesville hospital.

He was the son of the late Charley and Kathleen Herndon Carroll.

He is survived by two brothers, Percy Carroll and his wife, Gertrue and Robert “Bob” Carroll and his wife, Helen of Buckingham and two sisters-in-law, Sadie and Christine Carroll both of Buckingham. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Buckingham County, with Interment in the church cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
