WASHINGTON, DC, June 8 – Marvin Francis Taylor, 78, of Washington, DC, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Walter Reed Hospital. He was born June 11, 1931 in Buckingham County, the son of the late Marvin H. Taylor and Carrie Newton Taylor. He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmo Taylor.

He is survived by a son, Ron Taylor of North Carolina; daughter, Karen Norsworthy of Massachusetts; two brothers, Ernest S. Taylor of Ohio and Carl Ray Taylor of Richmond.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
