DILLWYN, Nov. 4 – Herman Benjamin “H.B.” O'Bryant, 19, of Dillwyn, died Thursday, October 30,2003.

He was born January 5, 1984 in Charlottesville.

He is survived by his father, Joseph N. O'Bryant, Sr. and stepmother, Nita O'Bryant of Andersonville; his mother, Katherine Gormus Trogdon and stepfather, Danny Trogdon of Dillwyn; maternal grandparents, Herman and Joyce Gormus of Dillwyn; great-grandmother, Mary Whorley Glass of Buckingham; two sisters, Kandas O'Bryant of Dillwyn and Jessica O'Bryant of Andersonville; two brothers, Joseph N. O'Bryant, Jr. of Dillwyn and Robert D. O'Bryant of Andersonville; a half brother, Charles Trogdon of Scottsville; a niece, Kimberleigh Ann Bryan and an aunt, Virginia Garrett. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Gertrude O'Bryant.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with Interment in Rocky Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
