MEHERRIN, Oct. 21 -Virginia “Ginny” Lucille Bernard Crews, 61, of Meherrin, died Friday, October 17, 2003.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard Samuel “Sam” Crews; three daughters. Tammy Crews Skipwith and her husband, Craige “Skip”, Dawn Crews Bowman and her husband, William “Henry” and Margaret Crews Showalter and her husband, Steven Kendrick; one son, Anthony Russell “Tony” Crews; two grandchildren, Amanda Gayle Skipwith and Richard Craige Skipwith; three sisters, Edith Kirstein, Betty Blackwell and Nell Masie and one brother, Russell Bernard, Jr.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday at the Meherrin Fire Department with interment in Meherrin Methodist Church Cemetery.

Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, was in charge of arrangements.
