APRIL 6 – Faye Wilkes Childress, 63, of Farmville, passed away Friday evening, April 2, 2010 at her residence. She was born August 5, 1946 in Prince Edward County, the daughter of the late John and Mattie McQuarry Wilkes. She was the wife of Henry J. Childress.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Kimberly C. Sprague and husband, Joe of Telford, TN and a grandson, William P. Fischer.

A graveside service was held Monday, April 5, at Appomattox P. E. Church Cemetery.

Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
