DILLWYN, Oct. 30 – Elizabeth Hudgins Absher, 89, of Dillwyn, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003.

She was born December 21, 1913, a daughter of the late Jack Hudgins and Virginia Dowdy Hudgins. She was the widow of Albert Lee Absher.

She is survived by her sons, Earl Lee Absher and his wife, Gladys, Arthur Junius Absher and wife, Susan; a grandson, Eugene Absher and his wife, Brenda and a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Absher all of Dillwyn.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in Browns Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donors choice.
