CHARLOTTE CH, Dec. 30 -Donald Yauch Bennett, 83, of Charlotte Court House, died Monday, December 29, 2003 in Farmvllle.

He was born August 11, 1920 in Riverdale, Maryland, a son of the late Reginald Donald Yauch and Gertrude Yauch Bennett,

Mr. Bennett served in the U. S. Army Air Corps and was retired from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

He is survived by his wife, Josle “Jodie” M. Bennett; one son, Reginald Donald Bennett and his wife, Angle of Hyattsville, MD: one stepdaughter. Jenny M. George and her husband, Fred of Manhattan, Kansas; one brother, A. Marshall Irving Bennett of Stoney Brook, NY; grandchildren, Rachel, Jordan, Victoria and Zachary Bennett, Joe and Angle George and Angel Ocasio; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Matthew and Libby George, Amanda and Jonathan Ocasio; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmvllle, with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.

The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
