Charles C. Rosser, 74 Of Farmville Dies Thurs., May 20

MAY 25 – Charles Calvin Rosser, 74, of Farmville passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Lynchburg. He was born February 11, 1936 the son of the late Calvin and Doris Swan Rosser. He graduated from Worsham High School. He was a member of the National Guard and a member of Farmville Baptist Church. Mr. Rosser was the plant manager of Craddock-Terry Shoe Corporation and was the president and part-owner of Virginia Shoe Factory. Later he was a part-time employee of Moore's Distributing/Cash and Carry.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Rosser; daughters, Vickie Keeler and husband, Brian of Mechanicsville and Christa Dellinger and husband, Andy of Cary, North Carolina; brother, William Rosser and wife, Linda of Richmond; grand-children, Lauren and Mitch Keeler, Ashley, Dana and Haley Dellinger and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, May 24, at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.
