JUNE 22 – Brooks S. Bryant, 65, of Farmville, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 in Richmond. She was born July 12, 1944 in Albemarle County, the daughter of Glenn and Estelle Drumheller Stargell. She was the widow of Jack Bryant. She was retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

She was survived by her sons, Dwayne Bryant (Nancy Bryant) of Buckingham and Will Bryant (Amy Swayne) of Midlothian; sisters, Gayle Eyre of Illinois, Judy Taylor of Caroline County and Linda Baird of Buckingham; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob and Matthew Bryant.

A funeral service was held Sunday, June 20, at the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in Westview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Edward County Rescue Squad.

Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
