NORTH CAROLINA, June 8 – Bernard Herman “Red” Crump, 79, of Henderson, NC, formerly of Buckingham, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Universal Healthcare in Oxford, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jones Crump.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a retired employee of APAC of Ashland.

Mr. Crump is survived by numerous cousins, including Joyce Orange Bobbitt, caregiver, and man's best friend Zena.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 7, at Concord Baptist Church in Buckingham with interment in the church cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6359, Glen Allen, VA 23058-6359 or a Hospice of your choice.
