CUMBERLAND, Nov. 20 -Annie Elizabeth Trent Hobson, 107, of Cumberland, died Saturday, November 15, 2003 in Farmville.

She is survived by three devoted granddaughters, Joan Bland and her family, James and J.J. Bland, Linda Trent and Phyllis Bates; a devoted great-granddaughter, Chanda Mack;three children, Eddie Hobson, Annie Montague and Evelyn Montague; a son-in-law, David Montague; three daughters-in-law, Louise Hobson, Queenie Hobson and Hazel Hobson; 25 grandchildren, four of which she reared as her own, Reba Jarrett, Jerome Hobson, Linda Trent and Joan Bland; 44 great grandchildren; a number of great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Cumberland, with the Rev. Larry E. Smith, Pastor, officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
