PRINCE EDWARD — The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors will hold a reconvened meeting Monday at 5 p.m. in the board of supervisors’ room at Prince Edward County Courthouse, located at 111 South St. on the third floor.

The meeting will include discussion of operations of the county’s sanitary landfill and establishing a request for proposal for a new contractor. The board discussed at the Sept. 12 meeting County Administrator Wade Bartlett conducting research regarding whether it would be feasible for the county to operate the landfill. The contract for the current operator, Wright’s Excavating, expires Dec. 31. Supervisors will also discuss plans for architectural updates to the courthouse.
