CUMBERLAND — The Cumberland County Historical Society will hold its next meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cumberland County Museum in the old Clerk’s Office in the Cumberland Courthouse. Bibb C. Edwards will be the guest speaker, continuing his story of the trial of the Garrett brothers for the murder of a local minister — a story that received national attention.
