All area high school football games scheduled for Friday have been postponed or canceled. Postponed games were moved due to heavy rain.

Buckingham County High School’s game at Bluestone has been moved to Monday, Oct. 12, while Prince Edward’s game against Goochland will be played on Monday, Nov. 2. Fuqua’s game against Isle of Wight will now be played on Friday, Oct. 16.

Cumberland was scheduled to play Victoria Christian Friday. However, that game has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Hampden-Sydney College’s Saturday game against Catholic University will still be played, although the location of the game has been moved. The game will be played at 1 p.m. at Jefferson Forest High School near Lynchburg.
