Court officials confirm that a Chester man will spend three years behind bars after pleading guilty to three felony drug charges stemming from his arrest for manufacturing methamphetamine in Cumberland.

Christopher William Skeens, sentenced Monday, was arrested in March after a narcotics search warrant was executed and resulted in the discovery of a used methamphetamine lab and approximately 200-250 grams of methamphetamine oil, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

The oil had an estimated street value of $20,000-$25,000, according to law enforcement officials.

According to the Cumberland Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Skeens plead guilty to the three felony charges.

Skeens was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine and possession of controlled substances.

Skeens was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 17 years suspended.
